A slight update and just talking
I realize that it has been a long time since I have last posted anything. I do apologize for that. My fiancee, Jenny has been going through a lot lately. She has been going to school... She is working on becoming a Pre-K teacher. Right now she only teaches 5th grade History during the day. Then she also teaches cooking classes during the summer. Her mom has been having a lot of health issues and so of course she wants to make her mom comfortable.
She is very active in her son's life. She always makes time for her son, her dad and everyone else in her life. Between grading papers, PTO, School board, being the head of baking/cooking club, being a homeroom mom for her son, chairing at least 4 different school related committees, and being the volleyball coach, I don't honestly know how she does it. I'm not saying that she is perfect.. far from it but she does make me appreciate things more. Jenny has such amazing faith. How she finds time to just sit down for 30 minutes and say her rosary every night just amazes me. She does so much for everyone else and hardly ever takes time for herself. I wish more people were like her.
To wake up every day at 4:30 a.m. get everything ready for the day and then get everyone else up to get ready for school or work. She makes all the lunches for us. She makes sure we have a good breakfast too. Sometimes, she makes Pancakes, eggs, toast, bacon and hash browns. Sometimes, she makes oatmeal and toast with some bacon, sometimes it's Biscuits and gravy, sometimes, it's a bowl of cereal with some fruit. It's just who she is. She loves making things for us. How she manages to do it with a smile on her face I will never know.
Yes, she actually does get up at 4:30 a.m. Monday through Friday. Saturday, she sleeps in until 7 or 7:30. Sunday, she gets up at 6 because, she has to get ready for church and make sure everyone else is ready by a decent time. Before anyone comes at me. I don't ask her to do anything or even get up as early as she does. She does it all on her own. Also, I want to point out that since we are not married yet, she and I don't live together. So, to answer the question of how she feeds us every morning.. it's really quite simple. I only come over on Saturday mornings. If I am there during the week, I sleep in a different room.
What a lot of people don't know is how much time and effort she puts in for everything. She has a routine which she can be very OCD about.
Anyway, I've completely run off topic. To answer the questions... We are doing great. We are going to get married next year in December. The reason we are waiting so long is because we want to have as many people as we can fit and in order to do that we need more money. Most of the wedding is planned for, but like I said we wanted a lot of our family and friends and not have to turn people away just because we couldn't afford it. So, we are extending it until next year. Also, I am trying to get legal documents stating that I am adopting Jenny's son. I just signed a contract with a big company and we will be opening 3 more restaurants across three counties in our state. As I said before, we are very well known around where we live and while Jenny never has to work once we are married, she chooses to because she loves it.
I apologize for over talking about my fiancee but I can't help it. She just is so amazing that I have to share my joy with the world.
