It’s okay when he’s not as receptive when I’m affectionate

In the sense of returning it, anyway. I’m glad he still lets me be so with him. I don’t get any coldness from him. I know it’s because he’s got things going on internally, as he always does, sad as it is. 😞 By now, I know the signs when his illness gets so bad that he just needs to be left alone for a moment to stave it off. But in moments like this, he just needs to be reminded that I’m right here for him. 🫂 This slump will pass and he’ll start feeling better again before long. Until then, I won’t let him forget that I’m always there to take care of him. ❤‍🩹
