I’m so glad my boyfriend isn’t political

Desmond has opinions, you could say, but he doesn’t seem to have any actual political stance and prefers to stay out of it. It’s not too surprising considering his mental illness. Who has time for politics when you’re struggling just to get through every day with a clear head? But I’m glad he’s not one to bother with the subject so we don’t have to worry about any of our precious time together being wasted on it.

@Jamesy Yep. Learned that a long time ago. I never even bother engaging anyone who tries challenging me whenever I may voice a political opinion of mine. I get called a coward or just insulted for refusing to argue, which just goes to show why it is pointless to bother with them.
