For ladies/women in a heterosexual relationship, how important is penetrative sex / intercourse?

@Fieldmaster How so is it not important? If we are talking solely, just for me, it has no use. The guy should just not waste his energy if his goal is to make me orgasm that way. It has literally never happened, for whatever reason, but not for lack of trying.

Now, if we are talking as an intimate couple, then yes, obviously, it's important. I want him to enjoy and feel pleasure. If that is through intercourse, then great! I'm all for it! Happy to provide!

I took the question as asking if women felt intercourse was important to them. My answer is no. There are far better things that bring me better pleasure.
