Would u consider going on a date for the first time different then being in a relationship with him or her?

I'm trying to understand the question. If i understand correctly are you saying that going on a 1st date and being in a relationship are one and the same? If so of course its different a 1st date is NOT a relationship. Its a getting to know you phase. In a relationship you already know each other.
