Not without a pre nup.
While it is nice being single, it is also very relaxing to have someone with you doing half the chores. Someone you can talk to, go on walks with, hold hands, kiss and cuddle. Go watch a movie, out to dinner, go on holidays.
Maybe an 11 month marriage is perfect, then you get 1 month to yourself to remember how much you dislike having to do everything yourself.

Probably yes, because I'm that kind of person. I just prefer stability and depth.
However, I would be far more proactive in finding a partner. I'd place myself where men of the right calibre are more likely to congregate due to their hobbies, education or work.

No question about it. Met my now wife when I was 15. She was 17. We married 4 years later. It's been almost 62 years since I met that beautiful girl on that school bus. Even when we are fighting we aren't happy unless we are together. We did some dumb things that weren't necessary but life without her isn't worth much.

Im in a 28 year marriage. Something happens. I don’t know how interested I would be in another one. When I was younger, I felt I had to be in a relationship gi do that whole marriage and kids thing. I’m not necessarily unhappy, but I don’t know if I would do it again

My first marriage ran its course. I’m remarried now. Yes, I’d do a committed relationship again.
I’m much happier with a woman in my life.

I was married 20 years and most of it was miserable. I don't know why I stayed so long. But I hope my partner and I will be together 20 years or longer.

Lol .. I'm getting divorced after 31+ yes, if that tells you anything.
Aside from my sons, who were worth all of it, the rest of it could ever achieve consistency as a worthwhile experience. Too one sided .. no accountability .. too little effort .. too controlling.

@BrandNewMan 31 years! Good for you on the divorce if that's what you want. It takes guts to do that after so many years together. I wish you all the best on your new adventure!

Yes, but like any long term marriage, I assume, there were significant sacrifices. On her part as well, no doubt!

Yes, I would. Only I would be kinder to my beloved the second time around.
