Is consistency something that exists in healthy relationships?

Such as knowing and believing your partner loves you and won't turn their back. Treating each other with care and respect every day. Every day there are kisses and kindness...

Obviously we all have bad/off days. But even when things are off, do you still believe they love you?

Or am I just fantasizing and romanticizing what a relationship is?

The consistency is in the commitment. I could go on for hours on how good our marriage was despite some serious issues; some financial but mostly health.

Even when the dementia began during the lucid moments I knew that the commitment was still there. I just hope that in those moments she realized the same.
