I would choose respect. It is all encompassing in itself: Empathy; considerate of others' (people and animal's)feelings... non-discriminatory, appreciative, supportive, giving the space people need and being there when needed, not dismissive, careful with expressing themselves, temperance/self control, non-violent and having a sense of moral justice.
Love is beautiful, powerful, and a blessing, but sometimes, depending on one's personality and life situations, some ways of loving do not have the things I mentioned above. It does not make their love less but just different, perhaps due to situations or the capacity to fully give.
