Horrible day at work

We were slammed on the phones, I was exhausted and my brain was fried. BF and I had had plans for tonight, to take his daughter to the movies for her birthday. Lilo and Stitch opening night. But after my work day, I couldn't bear the idea of spending 2 hours in a crowded theater with a bunch of children. So I asked BF if he could get a refund for my ticket. He immediately got mad and went off on me.

Then we come home and I had to clean the entire kitchen because I wanted to make dinner and every single dish and piece of silverware was dirty even though BF was home all day. 😒 The trash can is overflowing. The floors need sweeping. He did absolutely nothing.

I am making black eyed peas, collard greens, and cheese grits. I need some comforting southern soul food. 😔

What a selfish person he is. I guess with the daughter there, you felt you had to make an effort, but it is very unfair, and he really doesn't care that you work every hour. god sends. Tell me, has he come from a family of mostly women? My ex had 5 sisters and was used to being waited on.

@DearAmbellina2113 well that explains it all. Only son being treated like a god. My horrible old mother in law worshiped my husband. He rarely worked. I'd get home from work to a filthy house and his freeloading parents sitting there. He would greet me with "how about making us all tea". When i replied no as I'd just done a long shift his mother would leap up and say to him, "don't worry, I'll make you tea".
