We were getting along so well last night

Watching a good movie, even holding hands. Then the movie ended, a song came on during the end credits, a blues song. I said, "Oh wow, that melody/bass is almost identical to Pink Floyd's Have A Cigar." He didn't know the song I was referring to, so I found it and played a little of it for him. He agreed it sounded identical to the blues song we had just heard on the movie. Then out of nowhere he got all snappy and said he was gonna go to bed, got all mad and said he liked the blues song better, etc.

Why tf is this guy so moody?! Idc anymore. I went to my room and called his best friend and we talked for about an hour. I'm done with coddling this dude. 😒

I have long tried to convince doubters that the arpeggio (which some insit on claling a broken) chord, at the start of Dires Straits "Romeo and Juliet" is a direct rip off of the arpeggio form the start of Bruce Spinrgsteens "Jungleland" but they come out with two statements - one of which is that Springsteen copied Dire Straits very amusing given the chronology and the second is that they are completley differen twhen they are exactly the same note swirttng ion the same order kust playe don different instruments at different tempos and one is legato where the other one is staccato. I dont think eithe rparty is too worried as they both made shed loads out of those songs. Given 4 chord structures in most music it seems odd it doesnt happen more often to me.
