If you got back together with a significant other, would you keep the date you got together the same as the original or would you start it over?

I was with my boyfriend for 1 year and 10 months and we broke up for about 5 months and got back together. It will be a year since getting back together at the end of the month. Would you just say it’s been 3 years?

We had a big break before we got back together and, technically, I'd be aligned with the date that we first got together, the date that we eventually got back together and also the date we got married!

But....the wife says that's greedy! Lol!

So what we do is celebrate each and every day together. Little things that we do for each other. They all add up.
