I guess complacency is all there is now

Things could be better and I wish they were. But that’s not up to me, it’s up to her. She seems to be okay with how things are now, though, so I guess this is just how it’s going to be now. At least she’s still here in some capacity. Perhaps she feels the same way and that’s just fine with her. In a perfect world, she finally does what she needs to do to improve things and we can all be happier like we used to be. But it’s not a perfect world and I suppose one just has to make do and accept it.
