What do you think of people who refer to their partners as THE gf/wife or THE bf/husband? Rather than MY gf/wife or bf/husband.
Ive also heard someone refer (more than once) to their partner as “my human”. “I love being with my human.”

The wife or the girlfriend just seems like guy talk among their long time friends. It would be weird in mixed company. Even weirder if that mixed company included them. My opinion of course. People are different.
