What do you think of people who refer to their partners as THE gf/wife or THE bf/husband? Rather than MY gf/wife or bf/husband.
Ive also heard someone refer (more than once) to their partner as “my human”. “I love being with my human.”

I wouldn’t think twice about anyone using “the” instead of “my”. I’ve rarely been called wife so maybe that’s why. “My person” I get, and maybe “my human” is meant to be along those lines. My brain tends to go dur when it hears “my” though. I get all

@PerfectionOfTheHeart I'm quite surprised. From what I see posted, you are indeed a good wife. You are definitely the matriarch. If you were my wife, I'd definitely refer to you as "my wife".

@Livingwell Appreciate you 🤗. We always saw each other as best friends so never bothered with the labels. Started to appreciate them as I got older…craved them even. But it’s too late for that.
