What do you think of people who refer to their partners as THE gf/wife or THE bf/husband? Rather than MY gf/wife or bf/husband.

Ive also heard someone refer (more than once) to their partner as “my human”. “I love being with my human.”

@Quimliqer right? How dissociated can you be? Can’t even admit he or she is your partner or spouse, more than a friend NOT EVEN a friend. Not even my “man” or my “lady” but my human (of no particular status)

@Quimliqer don’t think you’re far off. Guy who said it was widowed in late Feb. buried “the” wife and on the 1st of March announced his new relationship. Refers to her as his favourite “human” or similar. Weeeeeeird.
