Would you rather marry or date a beautiful smart alec who thinks she knows it all? Come on. Don't judge a person because they may not be on the same intellectual platform as you. Makes me wonder if you even respect who you're with. If she's your girlfriend she should be your girlfriend no matter what and the very fact that you had to ask this is very concerning. If you love her it doesn't matter what anybody thinks.

@LadyGrace Pardon MY ignorance but, if this place isn't where to ask such things, what it's purpose? If I didn't respect her, I wouldn't be concerned about possibly taking advantage of her without even realizing it. I'd just be like "Ah, oh well!". I was concerned that simply dating her was taking advantage, and that I was some sort of pig for not caring about intelligence. Society puts a lot of pressure on us younger people to feel like intellect is the most important thing.
@JimFarris16 that's not what I meant about asking it. Of course we can ask everything here and that's why this place is great to get different opinions. I'm just wondering why you would care what others think about your seeing someone that you don't feel is as smart as you. It doesn't matter what others think about it but if it bothers you that much, then there seems to be a real problem for you. Your answer made no sense at all. You know when you're taking advantage of someone or not. Is she that helpless? I doubt she is.
