Absolutely is it alright..just so long he's at the age of consent.
As far as or the older woman is concerned, her focus perhaps shouldn't be on whether or not the relationship is going to last? Of course not thinking along those lines is bound to be difficult.
However the emphasis should be on the quality of the relationship. & It took up until recently to realise this. Just as long as you are both happy & contented, everything will be fine 🙂
