If it was available, would you like to know the day, the date, on which you will die?

Life's uncertainties perplex us, and we have nothing to found our lives on except hopefulness.

Yes. I have a lot of things that need to be done before that date. I have started on them, but I could work faster if the date was near.

No. After having my mitral valve replaced through open heart surgery last September, and then suffering a stroke last December, I am aware that I could go at anytime. I am grateful for each new day that I have and hopefully I'll have many more days to enjoy down the road.

@HowtoDestroyAngels You’re too young for all of this aren’t you? Is it congenital illness?
HowtoDestroyAngels · 46-50, M
@Dabre I found out that I had a bad valve when I was 45. They told me it could have started wearing down when I was in high school or possibly even younger than that, but it had never been discovered. My stroke was very mild, affecting only my patterns of speech for about a month. With therapy, that has been resolved. I am a happy guy.

Yes, definitely!

Sure. At least I could be prepared for it and have all my end of life things completed :D
No bc it’s not the destination rather the journey where we find fulfillment

Yes that would be nice

Yes because it would let me know how much time i have to do everything that i need or want to do instead of being or leaving ppl high and dry. Also I would do everything that I could to extend that time if possible.

@tfan123 Exactly! I'd have my money transferred to my husband to save him the hassle and upset of dealing with wills, solicitors, etc etc. Also if plan lots of great things for us to do in the time I had left.
Not at all. I don't need to know when I get to go 'to much I haven't finished '

Of course not. Most joys in life should come as a surprise :D

No…I would rather live as if each day could be my last.
Yes, so I can go on a spending spree the days before 😂
