Are you a fast eater compared to your significant other?

I'm a very fast eater compared to my wife, which bothers her, especially when we go out to eat. I'm done eating in a few minutes, while she milks it out for what seems like hours, so, I just sit and watch her eat, which irritates her! She rarely eats all the food on her plate, so she will give me some, that way she doesn't feel rushed. lol How many of you eat extremely fast?

I used to eat much faster than my wife, when in the early years of my marriage. Yes she ate slow, but I was pigging down my food, so I began purposely slowing down so that I would not be done so soon. It helps the digestive process to eat slower..

Yes, I still eat faster than her, but I don't always finish first anymore.

@OverTheHill Yes, I just told someone else how I notice I'm developing stomach problems. I get frequent heartburn and at times feel "stuffed" after I eat! I have made a conscious effort to eat slow at times and noticed I did feel better but I always resort to my old habits.
