Have you ever had your heart broken 💔 on here?

A wonderful woman and I developed, what I thought was a wonderful friendship on here, but about ten minutes ago, she basically said she wants nothing to do with me! I don't blame her, I can come across as "needy" and "clingy" but I try to be respectful. It was amazing while it lasted and it will hurt when I see her name pop up, I'm not gonna lie! I just hope she remembers the laughter and the tears we shared, I know I'll never forget our friendship. Does anyone have a similar story?

Once within the first 6 months I joined EP, got taken in good and proper and that wised me up to the internet. Then I just watched and learned all the signs, the questions to ask to catch out the disingenuous ones. I have my close friends and I wouldn’t trade them for anything.

@Primnproper That's really great you made good friends! She wasn't disingenuous at all, it was more me. I still think the world of her and wish I could have done things differently. I guess we all have those regrets.

@WizardofOz just remember a good friend will stay with you in the difficult times as well as the good, or at least try and give you a talking to but not withdraw completely.
