I mean, I do think at times I have showed off a little and the saying is to be “true to yourself “. my definition of that is that if you’re not naturally a flamboyant personality, don’t put on an act. I do like humour though and smile in adversity rather than be a bad sport…

Out of curiosity, how would the other person's career ambitions get in the way of you doing your eating out, shopping, getting your fixed, etc.?

I always felt very uneasy about calling my second cohabiting relationship my partner, that wasn’t me either, I preferred “husband”, but we weren’t compatible, so it was a good thing that we never married.
