Is the show right? πŸ€” 🌎🌍🌏

So me and a few friends were talking, usual nonsense and whatever
And then the topic of relationships and marriage come up 🫣

And apparently it’s mentioned on the show the Good Place? ( I haven’t seen it yet )

Where everyone has an actual soul mate, but it’s never usually the person that we end up with. It’s some complete stranger on the other side of the World. The only reason we never actually find them it’s either because we never travel there or it just never happens.

I thought it was bs, but the more I think about it, it kinda makes sense. It sounds bad but we basically just look for the love of our life in our city or wherever we live.

Maybe our perfect match is somewhere across the World? Im definitely overthinking this… πŸ˜’

Thoughts anyone?

This soul mate crap is made up. You make it by working at a relationship. There's no easy way. You do need to find someone that's your best friend. But then it's work. Facing challenges that want to break you up,yet the two of you work together to hold it and make it work . That being the thing,make it work.
Unless it's abusive. Then run

@Ashly I love SpongeBob .
But seriously. People take relationships to lightly. Dating isn't for hookups. It's a long interview for compatibility. Then you get together and after the puppy love wears off it's work and fun. But work.

@Applepiedom exactly, that’s the problem with dating today, and hook up apps made it so much harder to actually find a genuine person ☹️

@Ashly and courts make it too easy to get out
