You ever try to feel bad for someone, but they keep making the same mistakes?

Dude at work, kinda came out that he got cheated on, took time off, was never really the same, but was still with his girlfriend. Then, bam, got cheated on again. And again. Most of us were trying to get him in the right mindset, but now we kinda see that it's all on him. He's doing it to himself. Just goes to show you that you can try your hardest, but some people won't learn.

Being kind does not always work, try ridicule.🤷‍♂️
I'm kind of joking, but not completely. Ask him how long it will be before he is caring for and financially supporting a child that is not his. How will he feel about babysitting while she is out catching loads?

@UnderLockDown Worst advice ever. What else do you think you will achieve with mocking than making him feel like shit even more?
@CrazyMusicLover Because smoothing over the truth to protect his feelings is so good for him...🙄
Asking how long before he is taken advantage of, in an even worse way, does not equate to mocking him, he needs a dose of reality.

@UnderLockDown You can grab him and tell him your honest opinion in a serious manner. Why do you want to ridicule him?
@CrazyMusicLover I don't mean openly ridicule him in front of other people! That would be rude and inconsiderate, but without a note of harsh honesty the point would be overlooked. He would ignore it.🤷‍♂️

@UnderLockDown Well, I don't know how he would respond but I know that if someone meddled in my life in a passive-aggressive way like that, I wouldn't think they have my best interest in mind. It's quite different when you reserve a time for it, set a serious tone and tell your unfiltered honest opinion. That approach tends to gain more respect.
