He wants to see me every weekend!!! Ughhh

A guy I’ve been going on dates with texts me every weekend asking to see me. I dread this because I work all week and look forward to my weekend so I can do self care stuff to myself. Im okay with every other weekend but every weekend just affects my social battery. Why am I like this? Is this normal? This only happens with guys I date not with female friends.

It is my opinion that dating someone on a regular basis should be energizing. It should be something you look forward to. I would want the date to be something that fulfills self care. If you feel seeing him depletes instead of energizes, isn’t rewarding and fulfilling, then why do you continue to see him? Sounds to me like you aren’t into a relationship with him and he is only there for your convenience. It sounds like he is more into wanting something deeper and more meaningful than you are. You aren’t being fair to him unless the two of you have agreed to casual which isn’t stated, you should end it.
