Did I set myself up?

I told my friend to message my bf to see if he’d sext and flirt back with her to see if he’d be loyal to me or not. Well he ended up telling her that she’s beautiful and he wants to take her on a date and worship the ground she walks on. After this conversation with her my bf changed his phone passcode and told me he wants space and privacy when he was always open with his phone before. What should I do now? Did I set myself up for this or did I just open my eyes to who he truly is? He has no idea I’m on the other side of this.

@Colemanchloe326 a bit of both. I’m not sure of your dynamics, how long your been dating, what he’s like, etc., what your friend is like. Btw what did your friend do about it?

@DownTheStreet nothing she was just going along with it but does not want a relationship with him. She doesn’t even like him. We’ve been dating a while. He has sexted girls in the past and I told him I didn’t like it and he would tell me I’m not his mother and he can do what he wants, but if he’s incapable of staying loyal to me then that’s gonna cause me too much anxiety.
