I asked my girlfriend (hypothetically) If she would stop taking drugs if I said it was a problem for me. And she said NO

Am I wrong to feel a bit sad about this???

The way I see that is: Taking drugs is more important than me.

- Its worth mentioning that she doesn't take drugs very often, just at the odd party and festival

Drugs she takes:

LSD (ACID)
MDMA
COCAINE
WEED

Its not actually a big problem for me, but I do wish she didnt do it.

It's very logical to feel sad. However you entered a relationship with her knowing what she does and what she's like. Unless she started later on... So if someone asked to abandon your old ways, give something up for them while all the while they knew what they were getting themselves into, I don't think many people would be up for it. And I know some would say yes just to comfort the other person, but most likely their actions wouldn't match their words. Of course anybody who's in love would like to see their partner willing to do anything for them, but that's not realistic.

@HannibalAteMeOut He can attempt to guide her onto a better path with love and care, but that's easier said than done. Regardless, I don't believe this relationship can progress without causing harm to the man
