What is an example of a good reason to end a long term relationship?

Please be very specific.

If you are just wanting out but don't have a specific reason you could chalk it up as the relationship has run it's course.

Relationships and even friendships eventually just get boring. Doesn't mean anything bad happened, it is just time to move on.

@Punches Why can't you just answer the question without assuming shit tho.

Since when did I ask "How can I dump my nonexistent wife"

@SW-User Ahh okay, yeah I assumed you were in a relationship. I should have known better. 🤣

"Very specific" reason - boredom.

Look, when it comes to dumping someone, the person getting dumped won't EVEN care what the "specific reason" is, they are going to be p*ssed off and hurt.

@Punches Oh, you're still reading the question from a very different angle tho...

This question was inspired by observing how each person has very different point of view on when to give up on a relationship, and that's often a big problem with relationships... So I just wanted to know how people here see it. I'm not looking for any specific "correct" answer as there's no such thing
