Yeah, I'm sad again. I got rejected from a tinder guy I was talking to for three weeks!

I thought Tinder was supposed to be for fast and casual hook-ups. Maybe you've been using the wrong site.

I know of a female writer who used Tinder to write a book entitled "40 Hook-Ups in 40 Days". She claimed it sold 10's of thousands of copies to soldiers in the Middle East within the first month.
She was in my writers group, 45ish, voluptuous figure, push-up bra with cleavage on show, brightly dyed orange and maroon hair, purple and orange clothing with loads of nylon lace and stretch crushed velvet, high heels, huge calf muscles, clotted-blood-coloured lipstick and thick eyeliner and mascara.
Apparently her image must have attracted a lot of takers.

I have a neighbour who uses E-Harmony which claims it aims to help people who are sincere about wanting a romance or serious partnership. She found it tricky to tell who was scamming and who not - but said the site had good guidelines for caution and security.

@hartfire That's what I've heard about Tinder, too. It's a way to meet people quite quickly. Probably people who just want to talk to someone for three weeks are better off with another site.
