I have something to say

“When I say that I am fuckable not lovable, it’s not to say that I am only desirable for sex.
Believe me I know my body is not the sort of body men beg to have sex with.
It is to say I do not think I am someone who anyone could ever truly love.
I’m too much work, too difficult, too complex, and I can feel myself waiting for him to realize this.
To throw in the towel and tell me you’re too much,
That I want too much,
I am simply just too much to deal with.”
- Poet Isabella Dorta

It’s way more important to love yourself than concern yourself if others love you. Don’t ever depend on love from others. Loving yourself should be #1. Once you have self love then you are on the right path. So when you do find the right person for you it just adds more love in your energy.
