I have something to say

“When I say that I am fuckable not lovable, it’s not to say that I am only desirable for sex.
Believe me I know my body is not the sort of body men beg to have sex with.
It is to say I do not think I am someone who anyone could ever truly love.
I’m too much work, too difficult, too complex, and I can feel myself waiting for him to realize this.
To throw in the towel and tell me you’re too much,
That I want too much,
I am simply just too much to deal with.”
- Poet Isabella Dorta

There was this girl in my class, in college. In my friend circle she was the most introvert. She refused to be part of any group photos or picnics. She was very friendly though. I felt she had a low of opinion of herself. Thinking she was not attractive like the other girls in the circle. I was the only one she confided in and remained close.

But the irony is, though there were a couple of beautiful girls among my friends, I always felt a glow when with her. For me she was the most beautiful. Because she radiated the feeling of beauty without having attractive physical features. That's a reminder I carry till date.

I don't know where she is. But I bet whoever she is with would agree with me .
I hope you get the point.
