I dropped out of high-school.
I have a good paying job.
I have 2 children i support and take care of.
I cook and clean.
Not all high-school drop outs are losers.

@Ferise1 does it make you feel good to point out someone's mistake on a post?

@Ferise1 well thank you for pointing it out to me and helping me feel better about myself.

Honest answer .... Nope.
Wouldn't date the kind of guy you described. Infact, I'd say this guy probably shouldn't be dating at all. He should probably focus on getting a handle on his life.
And in all of this, the least important thing was the fact that he dropped out of high school.

I think more context is needed...
But I'd be absolutely scared that we wouldn't be able to afford to live because we couldn't get enough money...
He needs to help provide in some way...
Can he at least cook and clean? Can he read and learn?
You don't need a degree, but you need be able to learn...
Of course, my female cousin married a guy that got an accounting college degree and burned out and basically never held a full time job and they seem happy, of course, she also got her master's and an extremely well paying job that paid more that some double incomes... which had horrible hours, and then left for a lower pay but more family life balance... but they got money.
He need to be cool, clean and the ability to learn... or I'm sorry to say this, but I think he'll just weight you down...
But hey, you could also give it a try and learb more about him, and leave later.
But if he has the ability to learn, the willingness to learn, and hard work effort, then he has something to work with. Of course, if he had that, then why is he in his current situation? There might be a good reason, probably not, but there might be.

Date? Ok
But no job, no driving license, no money
Doesn’t make for a great future

I wouldn't date a high school drop out. It's just something you don't do in my country. It's a very basic thing in someone's life that if you don't do that everyone will assume you're handicapped. It's honestly hard to imagine someone truly be a drop out. Even those who couldn't graduate because of serious health issues usually catch up later.

@CrazyMusicLover I made plans to date a high school dropout. He was rude and often suicidal due to depression...... It didn't work out. Was friends with another and it was a terrible experience. Later I realized that it was okay to have standards and I'm not shallow for having friends with substance and education
Sounds like a complete fucking loser but women seem to like those types, yes ! Go for it !

Get your diploma or GED.
Why not?

He probably dropped out of high school because he was sick of hearing how bad “whitey” was.
JimboSaturn · 51-55, M
I think all those things together make him a loser at this point in his life; not very attractive.
calicuz · 56-60, M
How long have you known him?
lilvermin · 22-25, M
Yes I would.
No way.
IloveLucy · 22-25, F

pancakeslam · 41-45, M
