How do I ask a guy out

There’s a guy who asked me out about a year ago but I was going through a tough time and was not ready for a new relationship. At this point in my life I’m doing much better and I’d like to go on a date with him. Not sure if he’s still interested or what the situation is but how do I go about asking him?

@Fifidog Technically, he should be the one asking. Yet, it also sounds like you truly care about him. Exchange phone numbers and go from there. Maybe he lost your number and that is why he doesn't call
