Breaking up with violent bf

My bf is cheating on me AGAIN so this time I’m gonna break up with him. He can get really mad and angry so I don’t wanna be a part of his violence. I haven’t told him I know he cheated again. How can I break things off peacefully with someone who I know will get angry?

Is this a domestic violence issue?

@DeluxedEdition Sounds like it

How do you know when it’s domestic abuse @bhatjc
DeluxedEdition · 26-30, F
@Fifidog if your partner is abusing you either mentally or physically. This could be hitting, slapping, intimidation, name-calling, or yelling. There's more but that is general

@DeluxedEdition what if he tells me I’m not worthy of his marriage and insecure. Is that abusive
DeluxedEdition · 26-30, F
@Fifidog absolutely. You don't deserve to be talked to that way by someone who loves you. You deserve better. There are plenty of wonderful men out there who are willing to treat you the right way and not be abusive.

@DeluxedEdition how do I know when the right person treats me right what will they say to me? Will they always be sweet?
bhatjc · 46-50, M
@Fifidog It doesn't have to be. Some people just get RO to protect them self's

@Fifidog Nobody is sweet 24/7. But someone insulting you, intimidating you, yelling at you, or hitting you is unacceptable.

Always watch for the red flags in the beginning. If the relationship is moving too fast, if you notice him abusing substances (alcohol, drugs), if you notice he is hotheaded or quick to get angry, secretive etc

@DeluxedEdition That sounds true

@DeluxedEdition oh okay those are things I’ll look out for thanks
