How did you meet your significant other?

Complete chance. I was at a low point, tired of "the life", and was desperate for something to change. I wanted something genuine, something real. So when a guy asked if I needed help reaching something on a shelf, I gave him my number and told him, "Hey, could you call me sometime? I don't want to be alone right now."

Much less romantic in hindsight, but hey, it all worked out.
