I finally met someone--and of course he moved to another state

At first he sounded like he would be willing to move back. But when I talked to him today, he had completely flipped. I can't move because of my job. We're both up there in age and want to marry and have kids so these things have to be worked out pretty quickly for us. Anyway, I'm already starting to feel the dread. I've never had anything work out for me as far romance is concerned. As soon as he said that, I could hear the Boyz II Men singing "The End of the Road."
