A question for parents (especially with adult children)

How would you feel, if your adult child was hooking up with your best friend?

(PS: Your best friend is about your age in this hypothetical scenario)

How would you feel if it was your daughter? How would you feel if it was your son?

This question was inspired by an adult GF learning that her adult BF has been hooking up with his Mom's long time best friend... and GF breaking up with him about it. But I'm just wondering how his Mom felt about it... her son and best friend hooking up (as adults).

@Viper well lots of years for me to be in those situations 😅 but must be difficult, to care about those things, to care about them not getting hurt... 😐Like generally speaking about dates and stuff

@SW-User yeah, I'm not sure they were dating, or just hooking up (I'm talking about the son and best friend).
