Boyfriend ended things through a text message?

My boyfriend ended things with me through a text message then when I tried calling him, he said he will call me tomorrow I’m going to sleep in which he never did call me the next day. Just 2 days before he was telling me he misses and can’t wait to see me. All the while my mum was about to have cancer removal surgery just a few days later and he knew I was worried about my mum and he still ends up being so cruel to me. I’m really struggling with this and I just feel so hurt. How do I get through this?

First off he's asleep bag and he's not a man he's just a little boy.
First off a man would never break up with a text message.
Second of all if he was a man and told you he would call you the next day he should have followed through.
Third you are definitely better off without someone like that.
