It's no big deal. It would be more of a concern if you weren't passing gas. He passes gas too. There is a product called "Beano" that helps if you anticipate being in a social situation and having gas problems. Most all supermarkets carry Beano.

Everyone farts. You get over it quickly but at your age yea I know it probably feels terrible. If he says anything just tell him that he farts in his sleep and you never wanted to tell him.
