Anyone here over 30 and still interested in using people online for casual lays instead of getting a serious relationship?

I can't relate and tbh I find it insulting when it's tried on me. I get young guys trying to lose their virginity and just picking someone but older people who have had a relationship previously just trying use me is really unattractive.

I'm noticing a trend where many men and women prefer casual arrangements over emotional connections. I think there is a general disillusionment regarding relationships, and this is the result. People are choosing to use one another for their needs, rather than risk anything deeper. Sad!

Even when younger I've never wanted simple lays. Even now as a poly person i do not. I want those deeper connections and bonds and always have.

@PaleandPolluted to me a fwb implies there is also a friendship that exists outside of the benefits. That we would also hang out nonsexually. That would be my minimum bar. Just meeting for sex seems like it would just feel empty.
