I'd ask for the device and delete the images.
Then I'd have a conversation about boundaries and values. If my partner couldn't see why it was wrong I'd end it. If he agreed not to do it again I'd stay with him. However I'd buy a scanner to ensure no recording devices and I'd break off if he broke his word.
