If a man is uncomfortable around his wife's friends and family isn't that sometimes a sign he's a jealous and controlling husband?

Let's say he's very sociable and comfortable around his own friends and easily makes new friends. Then what does that mean? Also, he likes to put down his wife's relatives.

I mean maybe? But probably more likely he has social anxiety or feels insecure/not good enough

@flipper1966 I dunno 🤷🏻‍♀️ why not ask him
@WaryWitchWandering Just generally, any ideas why some people act that way?

@flipper1966 maybe he doesn’t like the way her family acts?

Maybe she has told him stuff about them that has caused him to form judgment and he comes off cold?

Maybe he’s a controlling assfuck douchebag? I mean if she’s still free to see her family when she wants and friends then it’s more likely he just doesn’t like them. Because as said in other comment, most controllers will act charming around the family, and slowly switches shit around and the victim is left feeling like they are on outside of their life looking in
