Would you date a person you work with?

There is a guy at my work that really captured my attention, we were having this eye contact and he keep coming near to my office, I feel like he wants to talk to me but how and how? This is the issue.
I think we both work in two different departments and that makes things complicated.
But I’m still hesitating… we are we heading with this ?
“ Don’t s**t where you eat” right?
But in my company we have a lot of couples that are working and dating together I don’t know why it’s not possible for me? Or I’m just complicating things…

Maybe start as friends first. You will find out quickly if there are common interests to build a relationship on. Not being in the same team does help as we all need our own space. I would recommend not being too open in the team as it allows a relationship to grow without outside influence. It also means if things don't work it is easier to deal with. I know people who met in a work environment and are have been married a long time so it can work. Either way best of luck.
