Do you believe, when starting a relationship, that it’s important to meet someone who is healed and in a great place?

Or are you willing to love someone who needs a bit more tlc for what they’ve been through?

I wonder what makes for a stronger connection… or if it’s all dependent on the process and if they’re willing to help themselves? Or if you’d prefer that work be done before you enter the picture?

It depends. If I feel like I am in a good and strong place to support another person, then I am definitely happy to be with them. But I would prefer that they were open with their problems, instead of just bottling them up (which I think a lot of men tend to do).

But if I am in a bad place, I don't want to be around other people in a relationship setting. I have been in the past and I was not a stable or good partner. Adding another person who is also in a bad place, is kind of a scary situation.
