Should women make the first move more often?

People may have different experiences, but for me women normally don't make the first move. Ive heard them say they are afraid of rejection or they are shy/anxious which is understandable. I have the same issue, but I still try to approach and make the first move. A lot of them say they will never approach a guy, if they stare at a guy and they don't get the hint, it's on them. I'm sorry but staring is not making the first move. If a guy just stares at a women he's considered a creep. I feel there would be more relationships if women made the first move more often. This is just my opinion.

I think after #Metoo and modern feminists that women have put themselves in a disadvantage with this type of thing now. They dont want to make the first move but have also made it incredibly dumb for men to make the first move.
More and more men are not making first moves or treating women as we desire because of fear of consequences and I dont mean treating women bad. I mean things as simple as opening a door for a women. Anything can set some women off now and well they have pretty much fucked everything up when it comes to dating, being chivalrous and dating
