Does this sound rude? A message I sent someone

"Fine then call me when you're phone is fixed. I'm sick of this uncertainty". To which the person replied "Good Moaning!" and I haven't heard from him since.
Communication has been almost nil between us since October - he's had health issues and a network problem, and I've been as patient as I can!!

I wish I knew. I made the mistake of allowing him in after a 2-year gap in communication from his end (he was in jail on account of having undeclared income). @SW-User

Yeah. It's hard for me because we had plans to meet in person. I've sent him messages on Facebook messenger and a friend request as well. Will wait till the end of the month and then decide. @SW-User

@SW-User You are probably right. Hasn't been in a committed relationship for more than 30 years since his wife passed away. Donned a lot of attention on me last year when he had a lot of free time on his hands and I fell flat for it. Goes to show you that the Internet is the last place to trust anyone!

@SW-User I've known him since 2015, on and off. Also I'm not claiming to be perfect. The reason I'm finding it difficult to let this go is because I pictured a future with this person. You know something - I had a bad gut feeling last year when he reestablished contact with me. I should have stuck to it and I should have kept my distance!!
