Christmas gift giving

My boyfriend decided that he doesn't want any gifts from me this year, and any money I would have spent on him I should use to get myself something, so he won't have to get me a gift.

Is that being practical or is he being a prick?

I find it hurtful, am I being overly sensitive?

I think its sweet.
My hub is the same way, he doesn't ever want me to buy him anything yet he is generous to family members. He just wants to see the joy on family members faces. Your bf is a keeper. Sounds like a good guy

@BlondilyOld thing is he doesn't want to buy me anything. It's his way to get out of exchanging gifts.
It sounds like he's tight with his money. If he is then accept him for that or leave him if it makes you unhappy @Sunshinekiss
@BlondilyOld that's a fair way to look at. If he is dishonest,it will come out.
