Should I tell my bf I used to hook up with the guy who bullied him in high school?

I recently found out that this guy I used to deal with was horrible to my bf when they were in high school. I planned to just not tell him bc I don't want to hurt him. But now I'm scared someone else will tell him because some guys my bf and I work with found out about it.

I moved to a University in a small town and everyone else I work with knows each other from high school. WHen I first started working there I started hooking up with this guy but then ended it and he got fired, so I thought I escaped it. Until today, my co worker told me another coworker who was friends with the guy told him and that theyve alwyas known but never brought it up bc they didnt want my bf to get hurt. But now other ppl know. So idk what to do. And I have no friends outside of work, hence why im asking strangers on the internet. Sad I know.
