Yes. But that's only when they're failing. If they're good relationships then they're rarely exhausting.

@scooogy then that's how you feel and the relationship isn't failing. You just don't want any hassle and need to wind down. Some people need space that's just a fact of life.

I was only ever in one "relationship" if one could call it that, and yes, it was because I felt I was only being used in order to get things from me.

@scooogy my last relationship was long distance and ended 3 years ago. I’ve realized that I probably need more freedom than exists in most relationships so I kind of don’t bother trying to find one anymore 🤷‍♀️
