Just finished reading this novel by Rachel Kushner. A very interesting book about a woman who is hired to go undercover with radical climate activists who may or may not be planning an act of violence. On one level it’s a spy story but there’s a lot more than that going on. All of the characters are flawed and interesting. There’s a lot of philosophy and history about how humans developed into what we are today. It’s a serious but intriguing read. Highly recommmended.

@Harmonium1923 It was. It was a book club selection. We have a discussion with the author soon so I needed to finish it. I figured it out, like I usually do, before it was revealed, but there was a twist at the end I didn’t expect. That’s fun, even though it was dark.
