I read a lot
Recently I read a book called the shoemakers wife about Italian immigrants coming to America in the early 20th century, Molokai a story about a Hawaiian girl who gets exiled to a Hawaiian colony or rather prison if you ask me for those afflicted with Hansens disease or leprosy in the 1890s as a little girl and her life there until she is released as an old woman when her leprosy is found to be inactive, and blue heaven a story of two kids who witness a murder by corrupt ex cops and have to run for it and they don’t know who they can trust. Two historical fiction novels and a thriller/mystery.
I read fantasy novels a lot, historical fiction, mysteries and thrillers, myths and legends ( like homers the odyssey) young adult fiction, romance, science fiction, and much more. I read full length novels, collections of short stories, and poetry. Reading opens complete new worlds for me and excites my imagination putting myself into the characters shoes. I can relate to the stories and even in fiction and fantasy. there are themes and moral lessons to be imparted. I also read non fiction too but fiction a lot more.
